Does God exist?

I saw this on a friend's Facebook recently. I expect it's 'doing the rounds' but I thought I'd post it here for readers who don't use Facebook.

It particularly appealed to me as I'm still in 'German mode' after our recent trip to Cologne (or should I say 'Köln'?)

Another response to THAT bus ad ...

My brother has just pointed out to me that there's another Facebook group set up to counteract the Richard Dawkins atheist bus ad campaign.

Here is an extract from the page:

In response to the recent campaign - 'There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life', we've started another campaign.

'There probably is a God. Now stop worrying and start looking for him. He is everywhere.'

This group are selling flyers (as above). I think I would prefer it if it were more positive and said,

'There is a God. Now stop worrying ...'

Incidentally, I've yet to see one of these bus adverts 'in the flesh'. I'm beginning to wonder if they're just a figment of Richard Dawkins' imagination!

Could be worse ....

It could be worse, I suppose - at least it only says 'There's probably no God'! Mind you, this is known as the Atheist's bus advert and I would have thought this is more of the Agnostic's bus advert.

The other thing is - why does not believing in God mean that you don't need to worry? I think that my belief in God means that I don't need to worry. After all, if we believe in God, we trust him to look after us and that whatever is put before us in life comes from Him, don't we?

Anyway, with one son an atheist and two brothers who are keen bus enthusiasts at least this post will appeal to almost all my readers!!
