I'm not surprised you love your garden! Such cheery little faces all around. I think I recognised a Day Lily/ Hemerocallis there too? We dug ours up when we left our last house- didn't think we would still be keeping it in a pot like a refugee four and a half years later! It bravely flowered up until this year. We have been keeping it in the hope that we could plant it in our own garden one day. I think we should just donate it to someone at this stage. Meanwhile it is great to see you using and enjoying the space around you. Thank you for the pictures of your little lovelies!
Thank you Kee. Yes, we have a few hemerocallis. They're easy plants (at last so far!) and give a good show of colour for quite a while.
Don't give up on your potted plant. Could you not find a space to plant it somewhere in your current garden so that you can donate it to the next occupants?
Hmmm, theoretically a good idea. But you don't know my landlord. He thinks weedkiller can tell the difference between weeds and plants you don't want to kill. At least he used to. Until the day he sprayed it all over the little place where I had planted some lavender and a few valiant tulip bulbs. Need I say more? I think the day lily would prefer to stay pot-bound!
