A's off to The Oaks tomorrow for a bit of 'hospitality'. The first day is traditionally 'Ladies Day' at the Derby meeting and there will be a lot of hats on show, I would guess! ( I did ask A if he'd like to borrow one of mine but he declined my offer!) 'Ladies Day' because the main race, The Oaks, is for fillies. (Just a note for 'non-locals')

The fair has arrived!
A's off to The Oaks tomorrow for a bit of 'hospitality'. The first day is traditionally 'Ladies Day' at the Derby meeting and there will be a lot of hats on show, I would guess! And you so close to Epsom and you go for a 'joy' on the 'big wheel', it's a great experience, it reminds of my growing up at home when the fair came to our local town.............very happy memories.
