it was a shame stage 10 of le Tour was not won by a frenchman. there were a couple in the breakaway, making a special Bastille Day effort.
but overall there were loads of french stage wins, a good haul by recent standards. nice to see given that the italians and spanish tend to do well in the Giro and Vuelta respectively.
